Юрген Клопп и Мохамед Салах Former England international Gabriel Agbonlahor has accused Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp of disrespecting his striker Mohamed Salah.

Last Saturday, Liverpool lost two points away to West Ham (2-2), and the end of this Premier League match was overshadowed by a clash between Salah and Klopp, when Mohamed was preparing to come on as a substitute.

It was the most important match for Liverpool in terms of fighting for the title, so Agbonlahor wonders why Klopp acted so badly with his scorer, releasing only at the very end.

“I think it was expected of Salah. Salah is not a reserve player. You can put Salah on the bench just for the sake of rotation. Salah scored 210 goals and provided 86 assists for Liverpool.

“In a tough match like against West Ham, you don’t give him 12 minutes. Probably, this is what he was saying at the edge: “Come on, 12 minutes? I’m Salah, you wouldn’t have won a trophy without me, Jurgen.” Without Salah, they wouldn’t have any trophies. He played incredibly well for this football club. Where is the respect?”

“Now Klopp is creating problems for the Liverpool squad for next season, upsetting the players. There is talk of Salah’s departure. Can what happened affect Salah’s future?”

“You need a win to continue fighting for the title, and you only give your star player 12 minutes. Therefore, one cannot blame Salah for anything at the edge. I think Klopp made a mistake in this case and treated Salah disrespectfully,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.
