Эрик Тен Хаг Manchester United head coach Eric Ten Hag said his job this season is like swimming with his hands tied behind his back.

The day before, United registered their record ninth home defeat this season, losing to Arsenal with a score of 0:1.

Thus, the Red Devils can boast only one victory in their last nine matches in all competitions — against Sheffield United, who have already left the Premier League.

Ten Hag still has to do without a large number of injured players, and this makes Eric’s job much more difficult.

“Any coach can always do a better job, but I’ve been here for two years now, and only once did I have a full selection of players. You can’t progress when you have so many injuries. It’s like swimming with your hands tied behind your back — you just have to keep your head above water, and that’s what we’re trying to do.”

“It shouldn’t be like this, but I come back to all the problems that we have, and the game needs to be analyzed with this in mind. You have to see that we are competitive, but that is certainly not what we want. We have to win, we have to win every match.”

“But we’re not in that position at the moment, not with this team with so many injuries,” Ten Haga was quoted as saying by ESPN.
