Роберто Де Дзерби Brighton are making plans for next season based on the fact that Roberto De Derbi will remain as head coach.

It was only the day before that information appeared that Brighton were ready to call Ipswich coach Kieran McKenna in case of parting with De Derby next summer.

However, Brighton are confident that De Derby will stay, according to talkSPORT. The Seagulls are protected by the fact that Roberto’s contract provides for an impressive compensation of 12 million pounds.

Last season, De Derby led Brighton to European competitions for the first time in the club’s history, but in 2024 the Seagulls are experiencing a protracted recession, which led to their fall to 12th place in the Premier League.

More recently, De Derby was wooed to the leading clubs of the Premier League and Europe, but the deterioration of Brighton’s results cooled these rumors and increased the chances of the Seagulls to keep the 44-year-old Italian.
