Manchester United legend Roy Keane believes that the victory over Nottingham Forest yesterday opened a direct path for Manchester City to the Premier League title.
The day before, City played a very difficult match at the City Ground against a team that is facing relegation from the Premier League. Forest gave battle to the reigning champion, but still lost 0:2.
For the rest of the season, City have to play Wolverhampton, Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham, and Keane expects it to be easier for the Townspeople next.
“I think Forest was City’s main obstacle at the finish. They were under pressure because Arsenal played their match earlier and won, and Nottingham Forest are desperately fighting for survival.”
