After defeating Norwich 4-0, Leeds advanced to the Championship playoff final at Wembley.
Leeds finished the regular season of the Championship only in third place, losing direct tickets to the Premier League to Leicester and Ipswich.
However, now Leeds are just one step away from returning to the top division, from where the Whites were relegated at the end of last season.
Leeds finished the first semi-final meeting with Norwich without goals, but outplayed the Canaries in a dominant manner in the return thanks to goals from Ilia Gruev, Yoel Piru, Jorginho Rutter and Crisencio Summerville.
Thus, having won the semi-final confrontation with Norwich with a total score of 4-0, Daniel Farke’s team reached the final, where they will play against West Brom and Southampton on May 26.
