Джереми Фримпонг Manchester City have entered into negotiations with representatives of Bayer’s full-back Jeremy Frimpong.

Frimpong is a key player of Bayer, which has not suffered a single defeat so far this season, reached the finals of the German Cup with the Europa League and has already secured the Bundesliga championship.

With his performance in Leverkusen, the 23-year-old Dutchman, who has scored 14 goals and provided 12 assists this season, has attracted huge attention from big clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

However, HITC claims that City is trying to get ahead of the competition and is already in contact with the Frimpong camp, which is just a product of the Citizens academy.

City are considering Frimpong, who has not played a single official match for the Citizens, as a successor for Kyle Walker, who turns 34 later in May.

Frimpong’s contract with Bayer provides for compensation of 34 million pounds, and City can comfortably afford such expenses.
