Manchester City are in danger of losing their goalkeeper Ederson for the rest of the season, who suffered a shoulder injury in the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.
Ederson was substituted at halftime of Sunday’s match at the City Ground, injuring his shoulder in a collision with Forest defender Willie Pain.
Ederson lost his place on the field to Stefan Ortega, for whom this match was the 17th for the “citizens” this season.
The first number of City left the stadium with his left hand in a sling, and after the 0-2 victory, the head coach of the citizens, Josep Guardiola, expressed concern about his ward.
“Ed is injured, I do not know how long it will take. Ed’s situation doesn’t look good. Tomorrow we will see,” Guardiola was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
