Хулен Лопетеги West Ham are going to provide significant support to Julen Lopetegui in the transfer market by making up to six acquisitions next summer.

Recently it became known that West Ham have reached an agreement with former Wolverhampton head coach Julen Lopetegui, after which the Hammers officially confirmed that their current coach David Moyes will leave his post at the end of the season.

The Evening Standard expects West Ham to announce Lopetegui’s appointment only after the final match of the season, but work on plans for the summer window is already in full swing.

West Ham’s technical director Tim Steidten is set to gain additional power after Moyes’ departure, and he is currently working with Lopetegui on a shortlist of transfer targets.

First of all, the Hammers want to strengthen the attack, the right flank of the defense and the center of the midfield. In total, the Londoners can make up to six acquisitions, and they have the money for it thanks to the sale of Declan Rice to Arsenal for 105 million pounds last summer.

At the same time, West Ham is experiencing a shortage of homegrown players, so they are ready to look for strengthening at the Championship level.
