Manchester United will earn extra money thanks to the fact that winger Jaydon Sancho reached the Champions League final with Borussia Dortmund.
The day before, Borussia confirmed their entry into the Champions League final, beating PSG in the semifinals with a score of 2:0.
United had already secured 3 million pounds when they sent Sancho to Dortmund in January, but the lease agreement between the two clubs also provides for a number of bonuses.
According to talkSPORT, the total amount of bonuses is 3.4 million pounds, and most of them United guaranteed themselves just because Borussia won a ticket to Wembley on June 1.
It should be noted that Borussia also took over most of Sancho’s salary of 250,000 pounds per week, but the Dortmund club is unlikely to be able to afford a permanent transfer of the 24-year-old Englishman.
