Мохамед Салах и Юрген Клопп Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has expressed confidence that striker Mohamed Salah will leave the Merseyside club next summer.

Last month, Salah had a conflict with Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp when he released Mohamed for the end of the match against West Ham.

Souness suspects that Salah is the culprit of this conflict. Graham calls the 31-year-old Egyptian a “selfish player” who “disappears from the game when it gets hard.”

“I am convinced that Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool. He played amazing for Liverpool, but if he goes to the Saudi League, he will be the biggest star in that part of the world.”

“There is no doubt that he holds an exceptionally high opinion of himself, and he is angry that he did not come to the match against West Ham in the starting line-up. I think the situation with Jurgen Klopp was his reaction to being released for the final 10 minutes. I think this confrontation is more caused by Salah himself than by Klopp.”

“Salah is the most selfish player I’ve ever seen. Even before this match, whenever Klopp took him out of the game, he was never happy with it. That’s what you want from your players. If you change him after two goals, he should want to stay to score the third. When Sadio Mane was here, they were always fighting about it.”

“When it gets tough in a match and he is being chased by another player, Salah disappears from the game. Last season at Old Trafford, Lisandro Martinez punched him early in the match, and then Salah looked over his shoulder looking for Martinez because he didn’t like that aspect of the game. He will never let himself get hurt,” the Daily Star quotes Souness as saying.
