Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has called for an end to “silly rumors” about his future.
Last May, Pochettino signed a two-year contract with Chelsea with an option to extend it for 12 months.
However, Chelsea have been very unstable during the first season under Pochettino, and Mauricio still does not know if he will be allowed to stay in the second.
These months of speculation have fed up with Pochettino, and Mauricio wants clarity about his future at the club.
“I want to say that I’ve had enough of this kind of rumor. If I have one year left on my contract and no one tells me anything, then I guess I’ll be here.”
“Only if the season doesn’t end and someone says ‘ciao’ to me… Because at the moment I do not know. I guess since I have one year left on my contract, I’ll be here. Enough of these silly rumors.”
“You need to ask the club if they want to keep me or not, and not write things that don’t make sense,” Pochettino was quoted as saying by the BBC.
