West Ham are close to an agreement with former Wolverhampton head coach Julen Lopetegui.
West Ham have yet to make a decision on David Moyes, whose contract expires at the end of the season, but The Guardian expects the Hammers to say goodbye to their current mentor.
Moyes will have a conversation with West Ham bosses after the final match. Then David will be told what the club has decided.
However, West Ham are already actively looking for a replacement for Moyes. The London club has considered a number of candidates, including Ruben Amorim, whose contract with Sporting provides for an impressive compensation of 15 million euros (12.8 million pounds).
In the end, these searches led West Ham to Lopetegui, who is out of work after his breakup with Wolverhampton last summer.
It is reported that a compromise with Lopetegui, who dropped out of the contenders for the role of the new coach of Milan, can be reached as early as next week.
Even without an official statement, this will allow Moyes to receive a decent send-off during the home match against Luton on May 11.
