Юрриен Тимбер Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that defender Jurrien Timber is ready to play against Bournemouth on Saturday.

After moving to Arsenal from Ajax last summer, Timber tore his cruciate knee ligaments in the Premier League first round match against Nottingham Forest.

Having healed his knee, Timber has been working hard in recent weeks to improve his physical fitness, and has also played twice for the Gunners’ reserve team.

Now the 22-year-old Dutchman is ready to return to playing for the first team, which means Arsenal’s infirmary is completely empty.

“Everyone is healthy and available, so now I need to break my head to make the right choice,” Arteta is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.
