Эрик Тен Хаг Manchester United are leaning towards keeping Eric Ten Haga as their head coach for next season.

The FA Cup final against Manchester City on May 25 remains the only opportunity for Ten Haga to brighten up this generally unsuccessful season.

United have had an extremely unstable season during this campaign. The Red Devils took the last place in their Champions League group, and also no longer have a chance to get into the top 4 of the Premier League.

According to The Athletic, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the new United bosses are still hesitating about further cooperation with Ten Hag, whose contract will remain only one year after the end of this season.

However, the lack of decent alternatives among the coaches, as well as the need to fork out for an impressive compensation in the event of Ten Hag’s dismissal, incline Ratcliffe to leave Eric.

Apparently, Ten Hag will remain at United, regardless of the outcome of the FA Cup final, but he is unlikely to receive a new contract.
