Юрген Клопп Liverpool have still not decided on a streaming service that will release a documentary on Jurgen Klopp’s farewell season.

This season, Klopp and his players are being closely followed by television cameras to gather material for an eight-part documentary, which is due to be released in August 2024, before the start of the new campaign.

Disney+ was considered an early favorite to buy the relevant television rights, with Liverpool hoping to earn an eight-figure sum from this deal.

Netflix and Amazon Prime were also linked to the purchase of TV rights, but The Athletic learned that Liverpool was still negotiating with interested parties, and the film had not even received its name.

When the shooting first became known in January, Liverpool claimed all four available trophies. Since then, the Reds have won the League Cup, which, apparently, will remain their only achievement this season, not counting a ticket to the Champions League.

Summary:

A documentary chronicling Jurgen Klopp’s final season as Liverpool manager is yet to find a streaming home. Filming for the eight-episode series is complete, with an August 2024 release planned. Although Disney+ was initially considered the frontrunner, negotiations are ongoing with various streaming services. The documentary’s title also remains undecided.

It’s interesting to note that filming began when Liverpool were still in contention for all four major trophies. However, their League Cup win appears to be their sole silverware this season, highlighting the potential for a bittersweet narrative within the documentary.
